John Nicolson MP questions BBC boss on impact of accepting responsibility for over-75s TV licences


The BBC was bullied by the Tory Government into accepting responsibility for over-75s TV licences. Shouldn’t the then Director General Tony Hall have defended the BBC better? Huge cuts have been the result as BBC boss Rhodri Talfan Davies told me today at the Commons Culture Committee.
