SNP MP questions Richard Sharp’s involvement in Boris Johnson’s £800k loan

We knew the BBC Chair Richard Sharp gave £400,000 to the Tories. But he didn’t tell us he’d also arranged a £600,000 loan for Boris Johnson – who then appointed him to the top job at the BBC. Even by the grubby standards of the UK Government, it’s all very banana republic.
