Tory Culture Secretary defends abuse of journalists

Nadine Dorries defends her abusive (re)tweets—calling James O’Brien an “apologist for Islamist atrocities”—because, she says, she’s being assertive as a woman online. It’s a deeply offensive justification and shows how ill-suited she is as a custodian of online safety legislation.
